Call it the repeating syndrome, there have been so many large earthquakes almost on a daily basis that I have not updated my predictions - to clarify, I keep seeing flooding, massive flooding in the North East of USA and many areas of the world - I have predicted this before and my rational mind saw the cause as from Hurricanes but now I am getting it is from very bizarre weather and service problems.  My predictions have certainly come through, as well as the last decade of rising real estate prices and the real estate market bubble bursting - well it has not yet burst, but a major slow down has occurred across the United States.  Homes for sale are sitting on the market much longer and sellers are forced to reduce their selling price - several times.

Condominiums and new homes in San Diego are now offering NEW CARS included in the price of the home or condo or property along with many other incentives.  Real Estate (slow down) has been on both the local and national news almost nightly with tragic stories of people over-extended with the "creative financing" of the 90's.

People have been spending far beyond their income with very little in savings for the past decade - and especially for the first six years of 2000 - why?  I sense because all of us feel our world is in jeopardy and no one knows what additional horrors and tragedies tomorrow or next week will bring.  How sad.  I certainly would NOT want to be bringing up children in the coming decades, nor even grandchildren - I know this is a dismal view, but I do not see the world wars, terrorism, or aggression abating - people are becoming much more aggressive, feeling out of control and overwhelmed by not only the future of the USA (thanks to Bush) and for the world in general that we are witnessing the most bizarre and totally over-the-top actions and reactions of violence and disrespect for one another.  I do not have to give you any examples, I KNOW you are experiencing them in your own lives and in worldwide news - it seems that each report or experience is more outrageous than the last.

Besides, why should common people save when Bush and his administration have now increased the debt of the United States into the trillions of dollars?

I see and sense major financial chaos worldwide within the next decade and actually much sooner so make your own plans and measures for you to survive as best you can.  Look at the best and worst scenarios for the next decade and pay attention to your heightened intuition which is actually guidance from your higher self or the God within - your angels whatever you choose to call this.  I encourage you to enjoy your family and friends and cherish every moment of happiness.

The new trend in "survival spending" is a wonderful model for us all.  I just watched the top 100 celebrities from Forbes Magazine on the E-Channel this morning - I was fascinated and revolted at the moral and irresponsible, self-absorbed expenditure of their hundreds of millions and sometimes billions of dollars - along with the earnings of these people who many teenagers and others admire as their role models.  For example, Paris Hilton had FIVE 21st Birthday celebrations in different cities around the country or world - each one costing at least $75,000 for each party.  Another star - Shaun P. Diddy - or whatever his latest name is spent 1.5 million on a party saying he lives large.  The salaries or income of these 100 people is beyond the beyond - yes, I would love to be financially comfortable, but to spend so audaciously and without regard to being conscious of sharing their good fortune on a large scale with supporting environmental change, improving poverty and education for the less fortunate.  They could all take a very good look at the Bill and Linda Gates Foundation and even Angelina Jolie.

Do they each need their own private jets or like Jay Leno to own hundreds of vintage automobiles?  Do they need to buy 10 to 20 gold, platinum diamond studded watches?  Or what about a purse for only $6,800?  Such a deal and so much for their ego and what about the impression they are leaving on young people who now must have designer clothes and all the latest technology or they are not "in".  What is this teaching them about their own self-esteem and how it is measured?

When is enough, enough?  Apparently there can never be too much of anything!  Well I think it is all too much enough!  What would happen to these top 100 Forbes Celebrities if everyone stopped going to their hyped and highly advertised movies and reality shows - if everyone stopped buying the tabloids and magazines that devote their pages (cutting down trees and ruining the environment in the mix) to these twisted lives these people lead?

When I lived in Australia, I met the most wonderful family that lived in the jungle inland from Byron Bay.  I was blessed to stay with them for a long weekend.  This family made a choice to live simply.  To be the example of the type of people they wanted their children to be.  When the children were very young - before they moved to the jungle and built their amazing home and a play and craft house for the children - their children could never get enough designer clothes, high tech gadgets and goodies, and toys which they insisted and begged for and thought they desperately needed!  When the family moved to the jungle, they had a family meeting (now they have regular weekly meetings even though they spend all their time together) and asked their children to make a choice.  If they would give up all their toys and high tech gadgets, the parents promised to buy the children any tools or supplies for crafts and to create their own art.

These children were much wiser than many of our children are exhibiting these days and they chose to give up all their toys and electronic high tech gadgets and games.  The children now create what they want to play with or design their own furniture, are wonderful creative artists.  There is no television in their home even though it could be available by satellite.  They do not play hip hop or rap music or rock and roll, they choose classical and new age music and each play several instruments - one of the now older children made his own guitar with his father's help.

They love growing things in their garden and working in it.  They love the fields of wild flowers they have planted and they care for the animals, not only their personal pet companions.  They fish in a nearby stream or swim in it and sit under a waterfall.

When I think of the Katrina victims and how they were abandoned in their dire time of need.  Listening to Spike Lee speaking about his four part documentary on the victims of Katrina - the reporter interviewing asked him why in the world would many of the Katrina victims believe OUR government blew up the levees?  What possible reason would the government have?  Instantly, I realized if it is true that many heard explosions just before the levees broke - I realized, or sensed that many who died and were abandoned were on government support, the poorest of the poor without even the means to escape what the government of both New Orleans and the President of the United States knew was coming.

President Bush and his Bushwackers and the Republican Party hate social programs and especially the poor and disenfranchised - I am not making this up, judge them by their actions, they have cut every social program they possibly could, including education drastically and head start programs - well, you name it and it has been slashed in the name of the terrorism threat - although the terrorists obviously attacked the World Trade Centers and the pentagon which were the epitome and icons of world greed and financial and world influence and domination.

I cringe and my soul cries out!  We must learn to love again.  To live more simply, to make wiser choices in living our lives not only from day-to-day but for long term plans.  Each of us needs to set our priorities and stick to them.  To make our lives our testament to what we believe in and to speak up at injustice and inequity where ever we find it - whether it is in our community or the United States or in the world - such as Darfur and the recent assault on the citizens of Lebanon.  If we do not, there truly is no hope for this world - so many are becoming more radical because they feel disenfranchised, that no one cares of their plight, because the power-full keep their power and only want more - and the greedy become greedier and only want more.

Whatever happened to the philosophy that less is more?  That love can conquer all, that everyone has a right to their own opinion as long as they do not try to impose it on you?  What happened to the right to free speech?  What happened to the Bill of Rights?  Whatever happened to the Golden Rule?  Has the Golden Rule actually become, "Those with the gold make the rules?"  Do we really believe their is a gas shortage?  How can the oil companies keep increasing the cost of fuel - gas, oil, petrol, ignore repairs and upkeep on their pipelines and report record earnings in the billions of dollars each quarter?  Why can't we curb our thirst for gas and cut down on our driving - driving the minimum every day - planning out our driving or opting for taking the train or bus or car pooling - if we each took personal responsibility and cut our mileage every day - we could have a dramatic impact on the oil companies who have become so smug the traders laugh at the plight of grandma's or little old ladies struggling to pay their utility bills as was reported.

Are they still laughing when over 140 Californian's died during the recent heat wave?  Most of those who died were elderly, some had air conditioning but were afraid to use it because they were on a fixed income and knew they could not pay the utility bill - so they died.  Have you heard any outrage over this travesty?  It was barely reported, if at all.
